Xolo has finally taken wraps off its latest device–the Xolo BLACK which will hit the markets with an initial price tag of 12,999INR and will be available for grabs exclusively via Flipkart starting from July 13th.
The Xolo BLACK will sport a 5.5-inch ( 1920×1080 pixels ) Full HD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor bundled with 2GB of RAM with Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone will feature 16GB of internal Storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB via external microSD card. The Xolo BLACK will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop preloaded with HIVE UI 1.5.
For the photography department, the device features a 13 MegaPixel camera on the rear with LED Flash support and a 5MegaPixel front-shooter again with LED Flash support. The smartphone offers 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 as connectivity options. The Xolo BLACK runs on a 3,200mAH battery under the hood and is reported to feature a Hybrid Dual-SIM in which the second SIM-card slot can also be used as a slot for microSD card.
The Xolo BLACK will be providing a oleophobic coating to keep the device stain free and will also be including a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 on the back side as well. It will come with free 1GB worth of Data per month for two months with Unlimited Vodafone Music again for two months. Around 100 Vodafone store will feature Xolo BLACK for hands-on experience in case if anyone wants to experience it before buying. On an overall basis, the device looks quite promising and will be a tough competition for other smartphones at this price tag.
