It is now available for just Rs. 5,999 on Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.

Redmi 2 is the successor to Redmi 1S,which got a lot of popularity in India after it was launched in March this year at a price of Rs. 6,999. This is the second time Xiaomi has reduced the price of its phones. Last week, Xiaomi made a Rs. 2,000 price cut on Redmi Note 4G.
