One of the leading companies in mobile and technology innovation, Lenovo is all set to launch its flagship phone, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note in India today. The much awaited phone will be exclusively marketed by the company’s e-commerce retail partner Flipkart and is expected to be available for buyers starting from today itself.
The phone which is supposed to be priced at Rs. 11,550 is powered by an octa-core Media Tek Helio P10 SoC. The Vibe K5 Note runs on a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor and comes with the Android 5.1 version. The lightweight 152gm device is loaded with a 3500mAh battery. As far as the camera is concerned, the phone is charged with a spectacular 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera for the selfie lovers.
Apart from this, the new vibe K5 Note will have several unusual features like a 4GB RAM to boost its speed and is most likely to sport a Secure Zone as well. This feature will allow users to sign-in to various apps with two different accounts and is more or less similar to Xiaomi’s Second Space feature in the new MIUI 8 ROM.
One of the other strategies adopted by the company for the phone’s promotion offers the customers an opportunity to experience the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note from the Ola app as the Flipkart is involved in an exclusive partnership with Ola, an app-based taxi hailing service. Lenovo has announced this offer over the last weekend, and the phone is available for preview.
The above offer is available for the Ola users in five main cities namely Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune starting from Monday. This will allow the interested customers to preview the handset through an on-demand service with the phone being delivered at their doorsteps.
The K5 Note promises to be a feature rich phone and improvises over the previous model K4 Note. An all-metal body of the phone compliments its stunning design while the Fingerprint scanner placed below the camera module of the phone is one of the highlight features. Not only this but the phone also packed a Dolby Atmos-powered speakers for the music and movie lovers.
