Chinese e-commerce site Gearbest has listed the OnePlus 5 with an arrival notice. The image of the phone shows something whereas the specs mentioned there says something else. The image is similar to what we have seen earlier. But there are some mismatches between the specs as mentioned and what we see. The specs include no dual camera setup info, and it mentions just a rear 23MP camera, whereas it is now clear that the OnePlus 5 will come with the dual rear camera module. As confirmed earlier by Evan Blass, the OnePlus 5 will come with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Also, Gearbest will sell the global unlocked variant of the OnePlus 5. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa Core processor clocked at 2.35GHz coupled with a whopping 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage onboard. However, the storage can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
It will sport a 5.5 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixels 2K display. In terms of the camera, we’re not pretty sure yet but there should be dual camera setup at the back and a 16MP front camera will be there. This time, the battery capacity has been bumped up to 4000mAh and also, it will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.
The main doubt regarding the device is about the camera. We’re not still sure what type of dual camera combo we will see on the OnePlus 5. However, as the OnePlus 5 is expected to launch this summer, we’re pretty sure more details about the device will come out soon.
