Well known sub-brand of Oppo, Realme is about to launch two of their new budget-oriented smartphones Realme 3i and Realme X in India on 15th July. Flipkart has already put up a landing page on their website but that doesn’t give away much information about these phones.
Realme 3i – Smartphone Ka Champion
As far as we know, Realme 3i is a minor update from the last release as it will be powered by MediaTek Helio P60 Processor and will boast the same waterdrop notch design. The battery capacity of the phone will be 4,230mAh so we can expect a full day of battery life even with heavy usage. The price of Realme 3i can be around ₹12,000.
Realme X – Now We Know the Value of ‘X’
Realme X will come with Snapdragon 710 (10 nm) Processor and Adreno 616 Graphics. All these will be powered by a 3,765mAh battery. Although the capacity is comparatively lesser than Realme 3i, it will have VOOC 3.0 20W fast charging capability which will charge the phone from 0% to 55% in just 30 minutes. The pop-up front camera and the under-display fingerprint scanner is the two selling point for the Realme X.
Realme X is being sold in China for ₹15,000 (CNY 1,500) but in India, the price will be slightly higher, about ₹18,000-₹20,000. Back in May, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth also revealed that the phone will come with exclusive Spiderman-themed edition with a special retail packaging and exclusive theme for the premiere of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Now time will tell if Realme can break into the market share of Xiaomi in India as these devices are going to compete with budget kings Redmi Note 7 and Poco F1. Keep your eyes on the article as whenever there will be newer information it will get updated here.
