From the beginning, OnePlus has made devices that are really close to flagships but costs much lower. This year everything is changing with their new array of smartphones – OnePlus 7 & OnePlus 7 Pro. Today, i.e., 14th May 2019 OnePlus launched 3 new flagship killers (also might be flagship themselves), OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and damn they look gorgeous!
OnePlus 7 Key Specifications
Design
Just Like the OnePlus 6T, the OnePlus 7 has glass sandwiched design. The full-screen front only has a small notch for the camera and is available in Mirror Grey and Red colors.
Performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with 6 or 8 Gigs of RAM is powering the OnePlus 7 and it comes with 128 Gigs of storage. The graphics chip is Adreno 640 which can handle games and intensive graphical tasks easily and Oxygen OS base on Android 9 Pie takes it to another level. The phone also has a dual stereo speaker and all of these are powered by a 3700 mAh Battery.
Display
The gorgeous 6.41-inch display is Optic AMOLED type with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels supports HDR10 and HDR10+ contents. The aspect ratio of the display is 19.5:9 and the optical fingerprint scanner is also hidden under the display.
Camera
On the rear side, there are two cameras, one is Sony IMX586 48MP and the other one is 5MP. It can shoot up to 4K 60 FPS and has both EIS and OIS. The front camera is a Sony IMX 471 16MP lens which can shoot 1080P at 30 fps and has EIS.
OnePlus 7 Pro Key Specifications
Design
OnePlus 7 Pro takes its design aesthetics to a new height, as it has a full-screen display and the front camera pops up just like the recent Vivo V15 Pro. The black glass comes with few color choices i.e., Mirror Grey, Nebula Blue, and Almond.
Performance
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and Qualcomm AI Engine, the OnePlus 7 Pro comes with 6, 8 or 12 Gigs of RAM and 128 and 256 Gigs are storage options. The rest of the specifications are quite similar to OnePlus 7, but the only difference is it has a bigger 4,000 mAh battery.
Display
It has a 6.67-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440 (516 PPI) and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There’s no notch as mentioned earlier and has a pop-up selfie camera. The display also has 90Hz refresh rate so the content will look buttery smooth.
Camera
OnePlus also added another camera in the OnePlus 7 Pro. With the same main camera from OnePlus 7, it has an 8MP telephoto lens which can zoom 3x and a 16MP wide angle lens. The front camera is Sony IMX417 16MP lens which pops up really quick and also used for face unlock.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G
This phone is mostly identical with OnePlus 7 Pro with some handy upgrade for future proofing. It comes with an X50 5G modem that will make the internet speed much faster assuming you are using a 5G SIM in it. This device is only available in Nebula Blue color and only has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. As 5G is power hungry so it is a matter of time if the same 4000 mAh battery can power the device for day-long usage.
