Taiwanese PC giant ASUS has today announced the launch of its latest range of Intel powered laptops. The latest range of laptops under VivoBook and ZenBook series are powered by Intel’s latest 11th Gen processors, and come with an ultra-slim design, expandable storage, custom cooling solutions and much more.
Speaking on the launch, Arnold Su, Business Head, Consumer & Gaming PC, System Business Group, Asus India commented, “We aim to surpass ourselves with every new offering. As of now, four laptops have been announced and the range may be expanded in future. The newly launched laptops are Zenbook 14 (UX425), VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413), VivoBook Ultra K15 (K513) and VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513).
ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX425)
The ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX425) is made out of diamond-cut aluminum alloy with a concentric-circle finish on the lid keeping up with the ZenBook design legacy. The laptop is ultraportable due to a weight of just 1.13 kg. , the ZenBook 14 carries a super sleek form with a 14-inch LED-backlit full HD IPS display, with very thin 2.5mm bezels. It is powered by either Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor or Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor offering the best-in-class performance, paired with up to 16GB 4266MHz LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD.
The laptops run Windows 10 Home and offer robust connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The device comes equipped with a 67-watt-hour battery with fast charging that can charge the device from 0%-60% in just 49 minutes. ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX425) is priced at ₹82990 and will be available for purchase from leading e-commerce portals like Amazon India and Flipkart, along with retail partners and large format retail stores spread across India.
ASUS VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413) & VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513)
These three laptops under the VivoBook Series pack some common features, while having some differences mainly in terms of display size. The new generation of laptops is available in multiple color options including Bespoke Black, Dreamy White, and Cobalt Blue for Vivobook Ultra 14 and 15. These laptops are designed to be super lightweight but highly durable. The VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413) has a 14-inch full HD LED-backlit display whereas the VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513) offers a bigger 15.6-inch full HD LED-backlit display.
The VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413) is powered by Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor whereas in terms of the processor for VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513), there are three choices for consumers- Intel Core i3-1115G4, Intel Core i5-1135G7 and Intel Core i7-1165G7. These laptops offer upto 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM along with multiple storage options like upto 512 GB M.2 NVME PCIe X2 SSD or 1TB SATA HDD. However, in terms of graphics, this range offers both Intel Iris X graphics along with Nvidia’s MX330 laptop GPU. These laptops has advanced connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, along with various I/O ports like a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, two USB 2.0, a HDMI 1.4 along with a headphone jack and a Micro SD card reader.
The VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413) is priced at ₹59990 and is available exclusively on Flipkart, while the VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513) is priced at ₹43990 and available via retail partners and large format retail stores across India.
ASUS VivoBook Ultra K15 (K513)
The VivoBook Ultra K15 chassis is built out of aluminum alloy and plastic for durability and lightness. The VivoBook Ultra K15 series of laptops is available in Indie Black, Transparent Silver, and Hearty Gold color options. These laptops are powered by any of the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processors coupled with 8GB of RAM and 512 GB M.2 NVME PCIe X2 SSD or up to 1TB SATA HDD. Just like the VivoBook Ultra 14 or 15 laptops, the VivoBook Ultra K15 (K513) also comes with Intel Iris X graphics and Nvidia MX 330 GPU. Connectivity options on this particular model is similar to what we get on the VivoBook 14 or 15. The VivoBook Ultra K15 (K513) is priced at ₹42990 and is available for purchase at retail stores.
The new VivoBook Ultra 14 or 15 and VivoBook Ultra K15 come with a full-sized keyboard, making them perfect for professionals. The key pitch i.e. the distance between the center of a key and the center of the adjacent key is 19 mm. The keyboard is not just backlit, but it is also spill-resistant making sure that tea or coffee splashes don’t put the user in a miserable situation. While the VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413) weights 1.4 kg, the VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513) and VivoBook Ultra K15 (K513) weights 1.7 kg.
