ASUS has recently partnered with Flipkart to bring the new Zenfone Series phones to India and after this strategic partnership, ASUS has today launched the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1. The phone is priced at Rs.10,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and Rs. 12,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The will be available in two color variants- Meteor Silver and Deepsea Black.
The main USP of the ASUS Zenfone Pro Max is the 5,000mAh battery, just like previous phones from the Zenfone Max Series. Another interesting point of the device is that this time ASUS has decided to go with Stock Android and the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, without any skins of customizations. The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro features a 6-inch full HD+ display packed in a 5.5-inch body with 18:9 aspect ratio, which has a massive brightness level at 450 nits. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC (Eight Kryo 260 cores), paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The GPU present on the phone is Adreno 509. Another good thing ASUS did is introducing a triple slot for microSD and two SIM cards so that users don’t need to sacrifice dual-SIM connectivity in lieu of memory expansion.
In terms of camera, the Zenfone Max Pro comes with a 13MP primary shooter, with f/2.2 and PDAF, along with a 5MP secondary shooter on the back for depth sensing and bokeh effect. On the front, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with an LED flash. The rear camera is capable of recording videos a 4K and 1080p at 60fps.
In terms of connectivity, the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro has Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back and also has Face Unlock feature. The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 will go on sale starting from May 3rd, exclusively via Flipkart.
