With Xiaomi entering into the premium market with its Redmi Lineup, BBK Electronics is also planning the same. Their RealMe brand is going to contest against Xiaomi directly in the premium segment. Recently the specifications of the all-new Realme X, which is touted to launch in the coming months surfaced. As per the leaks, Realme X will be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC, while there are even rumors about the Realme X Pro being powered by the top of the line Snapdragon 855 SoC.
A couple of days ago, a video teaser from Realme was released, showcasing the all-new pop-up camera device. It was claimed to be the Upcoming Realme X by CMO of the company. We’re guessing that it could be the same device which was spotted on TENAA recently, and carried the RMX1901 model number.
From the above images, it is clear that on the back of the device, there’s a Camera unit and the flash which might make the Realme X, the first device from the company to sport an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, there is another possibility of adding the fingerprint scanner on the power button itself, so this matter remains in the dark for now.
As per the TENAA listing, dimensions of the Realme X are 161.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm which makes the device a tall and large phone. It is expected that the Realme X will sport a 6.5-inch full HD+ display. But the phone is not completely bezel-less, as there is a thick chin at the bottom of the phone. The battery capacity of the device is 3,680 mAh, which seems pretty good for a device being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 SoC. The best thing about the phone is the headphone jack included on the top edge of the smartphone.
As of now, there is no information on the launch dates of either the Realme X Pro and the Realme X but we’ll keep you posted if there’s any new information.
