We are just a few weeks away from the launch of Zenfone 3 Series in India and already we’re getting some good news right from the home of Asus, Taiwan. On Tuesday, at an event in Taiwan Asus revealed another variant of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, which will be the first phone in the world to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 which has been launched just a few days ago.
The Snapdragon 821 variant of Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe has been priced at TWD 24,990 or Rs. 52,000 (approximately). The phone will go for sale later this year. Meanwhile, other ZenFone 3 Deluxe variants featuring Snapdragon 820, which have been launched earlier will go on sale early next month in Taiwan. However, Zenfone 3 Ultra is also up for pre-order in Taiwan and we are expecting the launch of Zenfone 3 Series soon in India.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Now, that’s pretty rock solid specifications! Remaining stuffs will be the same as the regular ZenFone 3 Deluxe models. It features a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. There is a 23MP rear camera featuring Sony sensor with 4K video support and also there is an 8-megapixel front camera for video calling. The phone is juiced by a 3000mAh battery and the phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Zen UI on top. Also, there will be a ZenFone 3 Deluxe variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage as well. Asus had announced the prices of all phones from the Zenfone 3 lineup, right at the global launch back in May. The Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) was priced starting at $249 (approx. Rs. 16,800), the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) priced at $499 (approx. Rs. 33,600), and the Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) priced at $479 (approx. Rs. 32,200).
