Xposed Framework, I guess there will be very few rooted phone users who are not familiar with this. For those who don’t now what it is and how it can boost your user experience, let me cover that in short before we move on to the Best Xposed Modules for Marshmallow.

What is Xposed Framework?

Xposed Framework is a software platform which allows users to install special modules, just lie they install apps. And the modules can change Android system behavior beyond what a user usually can do normally. If you want to use the Xposed Framework, you must have your phone rooted. These modules can change the way you use your device completely and can also help you a lot in many ways.

How to Install Xposed Framework?

To install Xposed Framework, your phone must be rooted and have a custom recovery installed, preferably TWRP. By going into recovery mood, you need to flash the Xposed Installer zip file and Xposed Framework will be installed on your phone. Also, to know more you should follow this XDA thread.

Warning: If you’re not familiar with these words ‘rooting’, ‘custom recovery’, ‘boot loop’, ‘soft brick’, you should not try anything without following a proper guide. And if you do so, we’re not responsible if your phone bursts in your pocket and burns your ass, starts World War III, your kitty dies or anything else.

Best Xposed Modules for Marshmallow Users

1. Android N-ify

This is one of the best Xposed Modules as I agree that it let people taste the feel of Android Nougat. Not satisfied with the look and feel of Android Marshmallow or too overwhelmed with what you saw in Android Nougat Developer Preview? Here’s a small module which can change many things on your phone running Marshmallow and make it look like Android Nougat. You can get the settings and notification bar look like that on Android N, along with the toggle positioning change. You can use double tap the recent apps to jump to the last used app and a few other tweaks here and there. Though this module may not work on a heavy custom ROM or some sort of UI which has been heavily modified, but on stock Android or phones running near stock Android it works flawlessly.

2. Zoom for Instagram

Instagram literally lacks quite a few features- like zooming into photos or saving offline. Zoom for Instagram lets you do many things like this. The module works parallelly with the Instagram app, and when you tap the zoom button it will open the full-sized image which you can even save to your phone. However, there is also a pro version which lets you pinch zoom into a part of a specific photo. Also, it allows you to rated photos. I have been using it for a while, just to save some awesome shots by some people I follow.

3. Gravity Box

One of the prime reasons of using Xposed Framework- Gravity Box is one of the best Xposed modules which can literally change how everything looks on your phone. It starts from customizing lock screen to status bar, you can add app drawer beside the navigation buttons, can customize hardware button actions, screen recording and much more. This is one of the most powerful Xposed modules ever made. However, just like Android N-ify, there may be issues with custom UI running phones, however there will be no problem at all if your phone is running stock Android or near Stock Android.

4. Awesome Pop-up Video

As the name suggests, this module will help you do your work while watching a video. It has a gallery for suggested videos however it works with most of the players, including YouTube. To start, just tap the share button and select the Awesome pop-up video to watch a video in a small space while you’re checking out the emails.

5. BootManager

Bootmanager one of the Xposed Modules which will help you suspend the apps at start up, just like a task manager. There are many apps, which you may not frequently use but they will start in the background as soon as your phone boots up. This makes the booting lengthy. It is just like a task killer which works as soon as your boot your phone and kills the app you don’t want to start at boot.

So, these were the best Xposed Modules that you must install on your phone running Android Marshmallow. I will come up with some more tweaks and tricks that can change the entire experience of using your Android smartphone, till then keep checking our Facebook page for our latest updates and don’t forget to like our page so that you get all the updates right on your newsfeed.
