Karbonn announced Karbonn Sparkle V Android One based smartphone via Snapdeal

The wait is over, Karbonn announced one of the first Android One smartphone- Karbonn Sparkle V and it will be exclusively available through Snapdeal.com and the booking of this Android One smartphone starts exactly at 3:30 PM today

This year in the Google I/O Senior VP of Android, Chrome and App Sundar Pichai announced Android One, a line up of budget friendly entry level smartphones known as Android One smartphones and it was known that it will be arriving in India first. Today, three of the Android One phones will be launched by Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. Indian e-commerce site Snapdeal has pulled the cover up from one of the first Android One smartphone, the Karbonn Sparkle V which will be priced at Rs. 6399.

We have got some details about the first Android One phone revealed. The display of the phone measures 4.5 inches and has a resolution of 480×854 pixels. The phone has a 5 MP rear snapper and a 2 MP front camera for video calling. The phone is likely to have MediaTek Quad-core SoC and 1 GB RAM. The phone will run Adroid Kitkat 4.4 out of the box and an upgrade to Android L pretty soon (as Google promised). The phone has 4 GB internal memory in which 2GB is usable. However it can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD.  Connectivity features include EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB  along with GPS. The phone has on-board sensors like G-Sensor , Proximity sensor, Light sensor, E-Compass, Gyro Sensor. The phone is sized at 113x66x10.4mm and is powered by a 1700 mAh battery.

The phone will also have Android Device Manager so that you can remotely lock or erease your phone, as mentioned on Snapdeal.
